About My Clients
Are you looking for a co-conspirator to move through a place of stuckness, confusion, or overwhelm? I specialize in navigating life transitions, healing/deepening relationship to self, and exploring your unique experience of neurodivergence (expansively defined, and non-pathologizing). I love to work with people who identify as lifelong learners.
My Background and Approach
I practice relational, embodied psychotherapy with an emphasis on the here-and-now. I believe we can trust that all of our stuff—including what’s ready to be looked at in a new way, and available for change—is right here with us in the room. And therapy is a particular kind of self-shaping practice. So, together we will get curious about what you are experiencing; engage in world-building to create the places you want to inhabit; and explore an expanded sense of presence and aliveness. In addition to my clinical training at the California Institute of Integral Studies, I have a PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of Chicago and decades of experience as a dancer. My research focuses on embodiment, and the ways our experiences build up over time to make us who we are. My way of practicing therapy is ever-evolving, but is currently most influenced by: the Hakomi method, interpersonal neurobiology, and play therapy.
