About My Clients
Whether you are navigating identity and life transitions, exploring your relationship with food and body image, or coping with the pressures of athletics such as performance anxiety, injury, burnout, or retirement, therapy can be a space for meaningful growth and change. I support clients through challenges including eating disorder recovery, addiction, grief, burnout, and major life transitions with a compassionate, collaborative, and individualized approach.
My Background and Approach
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, my role is to provide that space and to walk with you as you work toward personal growth. My approach is open, straightforward and compassionate. I believe clarity, collaboration, and evidence-based care create the strongest foundation for lasting change. My background in athletic training also allows me to utilize a holistic approach to my work by integrating the mind and body. My work is grounded exclusively in evidence-based treatment approaches, tailored to meet your individual needs and lived experience. These approaches include Internal Family Systems (IFS), CBT, Narrative Therapy, and Attachment Therapy (to address how attachment affects our family and relationship dynamics). Together, we will work toward meaningful change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Therapy is a deeply vulnerable space, and I recognize the courage it takes to begin that process. As a queer therapist, I am committed to creating a warm, affirming, and supportive environment where you feel seen, heard, and accepted exactly as you are. Together, we will explore your goals and work collaboratively toward meaningful growth and healing. I believe therapy is not one-size-fits-all. Every person brings unique experiences, needs, and strengths, which is why I tailor my approach to best support you. My goal is to work alongside you to find a therapeutic style and approach that feels effective, authentic, and empowering for your journey.
