About My Clients

When we experience trauma, adverse events, or early childhood relational wounds, we often find ourselves stuck in unhealthy cycles as a way of shielding ourselves from reliving that pain. I look forward to helping you get unstuck and move towards a meaningful life.
My Background and Approach
I take an integrative therapy approach, drawing wisdom from a variety of modalities including EMDR, IFS, attachment theory, somatic and mindfulness-influenced practices, AEDP, Mindful Self-Compassion, and ACT. Through using these approaches, my attuned presence in the therapy room, and your inner wisdom, we can embody wholehearted transformation. I have experience using these modalities to assist with relationship and communication issues, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma and complex trauma, self-esteem and perfectionism, chronic health issues, early recovery from substance misuse, healing from intimate partner or gender-based violence, disconnection from others or self, and developing a healthier relationship with emotions and body.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe our behaviors, even unhelpful patterns, are forms of self-protection. While these protective mechanisms are well-intentioned, they can hinder us from leading a meaningful life. With gentleness and compassion, can venture beyond symptom management and address root causes of our pain and struggles. Through accepting the complexity of all parts of our being, we can embrace both our heart and mind, heal old wounds, and cultivate the holistic person you are in the process of becoming.
