About My Clients
I work with adults feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally stretched. Many are navigating stress, past experiences, or life transitions and want therapy that feels supportive, practical, and grounding. Clients often seek tools to manage emotions, slow down, and feel more steady in daily life.
My Background and Approach
I believe therapy works best when it feels safe, collaborative, and respectful. Emotional responses often make sense in the context of stress, trauma, and life experiences. Therapy should help people understand themselves with compassion rather than judgment. I take a trauma-informed, nervous-system–aware approach, recognizing how stress and overwhelm affect both mind and body. When the nervous system feels supported, people are better able to regulate emotions and respond rather than react. My work blends insight with practical skills. I draw from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), alongside somatic techniques, to help clients build emotional regulation, resilience, and confidence. Therapy is not about fixing who you are, but about developing tools and understanding that support lasting change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy works best when it feels safe, collaborative, and respectful. Emotional responses often make sense in the context of stress, trauma, and life experiences. Therapy should help people understand themselves with compassion rather than judgment. I take a trauma-informed, nervous-system–aware approach, recognizing how stress and overwhelm can affect both mind and body. When the nervous system feels supported, people are better able to regulate emotions, reflect clearly, and respond rather than react. Therapy should move at a pace that feels manageable, helping clients build resilience gradually. I believe insight and practical tools work best together. Therapy is not about fixing who you are, but about strengthening self-understanding, emotional regulation, and confidence. Healing happens through steady support, curiosity, and developing skills that can be used beyond the therapy room.
