About My Clients
I am a trauma-focused cognitive behavior therapist, which means that I will help you understand how your thoughts and feelings were influenced by traumatic experiences and can help you untangle feeling and thought patterns that keep you locked into patterns of panic, anxiety, depression, and often other chronic health issues and relationship complications.
My Background and Approach
I support clients who are recovering from trauma. I have a special focus on working with survivors of sexual assault and couples who are seeking to build intimacy. I can guide you through the phases of recovery from recent or past traumas that are blocking your sense of wellness. There will be moments where you are uncertain and angry, and maybe moments that feel too difficult to face, but I will be with you every step of the way. Trauma lives in our bodies and we carry it with us until we can engage in the natural emotional healing process that is also built into our nervous system. Let me be your guide and supporter. I welcome you to reach out to speak with intake staff at Blossoming Cherry Mental Health Counseling to schedule an appointment with me, or request an appointment with me directly from our website: https://blossomingcherrymentalhealth.com/
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
The hardest part about being a mental health advocate is understanding and listening to the continuous negative stigmas that people still have about someone who is struggling and seeks help. Choosing to work on your mental health should not be viewed as a weakness but rather as a strength because it takes a strong person to want to confront and work towards moving past the challenges you face. The power is yours.
