About My Clients
You might look like you’re holding it together, but inside you feel overwhelmed, on edge, or emotionally exhausted. Anxiety may hit out of nowhere, emotions feel hard to control, or life just feels heavier than it should. Many of my clients are teens and young adults navigating school stress, family dynamics, burnout, or feeling stuck. You don’t need to have it all figured out — just be willing to show up honestly, and we’ll build tools that work in real life.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience working in school-based, in-home, and community mental health settings. I’ve spent years supporting teens and young adults navigating anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, school stress, family conflict, and major life transitions. This background allows me to understand the real pressures clients face both inside and outside of therapy. My approach is grounded, direct, and collaborative. I meet clients where they’re at and focus on creating a space that feels honest, supportive, and judgment-free. Sessions emphasize emotional awareness, understanding patterns, and building practical coping skills that clients can use in their daily lives. My goal is to help clients feel more regulated, confident, and capable as they move forward.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I value authenticity, honesty, and meeting people where they are — not where they “should” be. I believe therapy works best when clients feel safe enough to be real, even when things are messy or uncomfortable. I’m committed to creating an affirming, inclusive space for all clients, including those who identify as LGBTQ+ or who have felt misunderstood or judged in other settings. My work as a social worker has shaped a whole-person approach to care. I’ve worked in residential substance use treatment, juvenile justice settings, and with student athletes, which has reinforced the importance of understanding context, systems, and external pressures alongside emotional experiences. I value advocacy and practical support, and I believe meaningful change happens when therapy addresses both internal experiences and real-world challenges.
