About My Clients
I aim to serve as many people as I can. However, I specialize in working with individuals, couples, families and children. I specialize in working with those who are neurodivergent, dealing with infertility/recurrent loss, on a bariatric journey, struggle with anxiety, or just need a safe place to talk. I am currently working on expanding Telehealth services and will primarily be taking clients virtually.
My Background and Approach
I received my Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy degree from Abilene Christian University in 2023. I received my associate license in March of 2024 and I am currently booking clients. My approach is that of a therapist is only as good as their toolbox. I continually educate myself on different approaches and changes to the field in order to ensure that I can help each client where they are and in a way that works for them. No two clients are the same and neither should my approach to working with them. I have personal experience working with military populations, the infertility community, as well as the bariatric community and feel passionate about giving back to them. I love being the mom to two neurodivergent boys, and it has given me a passion to learn more about ADHD and other divergent disorders. I am currently working on building my toolbox to better support these children, and adults, in the future.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a Christian woman, who has been married to my husband for 7 years. We have two beautiful boys who give me so much purpose and drive. I have personally experienced the lack of mental healthcare available in the military community which has driven me to give back to our service members and their families. I love my faith, and although I am able to provide meaningful support without the religious aspect, I do enjoy sharing God’s message with those who feel they need it. I have lost a few good friends to suicide and I actively support the 22 a day project, Til Valhalla project, and the Wounded Warrior projects.
