About My Clients
My clients are caring, capable people who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or ready for change. Many face stress, anxiety, or struggles with substance use and want support that feels real and nonjudgmental. Some seek harm reduction or abstinence, others want healthier ways to cope. Together, we slow down, explore what’s beneath the stress, and build tools for balance, confidence, and meaningful growth.
My Background and Approach
I offer a warm, practical, and compassionate approach to therapy. My work focuses on helping individuals slow down, make sense of what’s beneath their stress, and create meaningful change at their own pace. I specialize in addiction recovery, working with both harm reduction and abstinence-based goals, and I believe there’s no single right way to heal. Together, we’ll explore patterns, build healthier coping tools, and strengthen self-awareness and confidence. My approach blends honesty with empathy—grounded in real conversation, not judgment or clinical jargon. I strive to create a space where you feel seen, supported, and safe to be yourself. Whether you’re managing anxiety, depression, or recovery challenges, I meet you where you are and help you move toward balance, stability, and a life that feels more aligned with your values.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a liberal Catholic within the Roman Catholic tradition, my faith guides me toward compassion, inclusion, and justice rather than judgment. I believe every person is created with inherent worth and deserves respect, dignity, and care—regardless of background, belief, or circumstance. My values align with service and empathy, emphasizing love in action and support for all who struggle. I’m passionate about ensuring people have access to their basic needs—safety, shelter, health, and connection—as foundations for healing. In both my life and work, I believe harm reduction reflects mercy and wisdom: meeting people where they are, honoring their humanity, and walking beside them toward safety, stability, and growth. My faith inspires me to practice kindness, humility, and understanding as ways of living out the Gospel in everyday relationships and counseling work.
