About My Clients
Adulting aged techies, creatives, and tortured souls. Generally folks who are too kind and too thoughtful, talented but can’t see it, struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma and relationship problems (usually all at the same time), and feel overwhelmed with their thoughts or emotions, and often overloaded with a sense of responsibility for others, whether feelings or materially. These folks were usually precocious kids and feel often on the outside looking in.
My Background and Approach
My work blends relational psychodynamic therapy, parts-work, and embodied awareness. I help people slow down enough to hear themselves—both the protective parts that get loud and the quieter parts that hold longing and truth. Together we explore how past relationships, internal roles, and cultural messages shape your current struggles with connection, identity, and self-worth. I clarify what feels confusing, name patterns that keep you stuck, and sometimes offer interpretations or guide you to notice what’s happening in your body or speak from an internal part. Clients describe my style as warm, curious, and grounded, using our relationship to make room for grief, fear, desire, and self-protection. My background in creativity and the psychology of technology helps me understand modern anxiety, burnout, and the search for authenticity. Ultimately, the work creates more freedom—not by forcing change, but by understanding the deeper patterns that shape you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people make sense in context—our histories, relationships, culture, and internal roles all shape how we learn to survive, love, and protect ourselves. I don’t see symptoms as flaws but as adaptations that once had purpose. I believe healing comes from honest reflection, emotional courage, and experiencing yourself differently in relationship. I trust the intelligence of the psyche, the value of ambivalence, and the creative ways people find meaning. I also believe that becoming more whole isn’t about fixing yourself, but about understanding the stories you’ve lived inside and discovering a way of being that feels more alive, connected, and truly your own.
