About My Clients

My clients are often high-functioning individuals navigating intersections of outer success and inner psychological challenges. Many struggle with visible or unspoken forms of suffering and persistent emotional difficulties while redefining achievement and self-worth. My clients are often drawn to understanding and transforming roots of symptoms from early relational ruptures and protective patterns shaping their relationships and sense of self, moving toward a more meaningful and vital life.

My Background and Approach

My work is grounded in a depth-oriented understanding of the psyche and emotional suffering. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, relational difficulties, trauma, grief, life transitions, and persistent feelings of disconnection or inner conflict. My approach is informed by psychoanalytic and Jungian traditions, trauma-informed care, EMDR, and relational psychotherapy. While attending to symptom relief, I believe suffering often carries deeper meanings connected to early relational/emotional blueprints and protective adaptations formed over time. Psychotherapy becomes a space where we begin to understand what has been shaping experience outside awareness. Unconscious patterns can gradually be recognized, allowing disowned or conflicting parts of the self to be integrated and opening the possibility for enduring change. In addition to my clinical training, I draw upon four decades of lived experience across business, creative, holistic and cross-cultural practices.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Before entering psychology, I spent much of my adult life in business, construction, music work, and cross-cultural communities. Repairing damaged houses established my belief in a grounded approach to healing: recognizing what has been destabilized and what may restore the House of the Psyche and support life again. I also engaged for decades in music, Eastern, Western, and Indigenous traditions, and holistic practices. Integrating ancient wisdom with depth psychology shaped my understanding of tending psychic ruptures within emotional, relational, somatic, energetic, cultural, and ancestral layers. As a contributing author exploring transcultural unconscious, I understand we often carry both the gifts and wounds of our ancestors. I believe healing begins when un-metabolized aspects of experience can be approached with greater honesty and emotional depth. Therapy can help you develop a different relationship to suffering—one that allows for deeper integration, vitality, and meaning.
