About My Clients

Are you struggling navigating the complex family dynamics trying to please your parents or your children? Do you feel overwhelmed with the pressures managing your own life, like no one understands you and how you feel? I know exactly what that feeling is like, the stress, the hopelessness, and fears and ongoing ruminating worries that you can't stop. My goal is to teach you how to be confident in your own ability to talk to your family without offending anyone and to reclaim your peace.

My Background and Approach

Healing is not just an individual journey; it is a collective and intergenerational one. At YeungWellness, I provide a collaborative, affirming space for individuals and families across the lifespan. I got my masters degree at Columbia School of Social Work so that I could build the skills to best help you make sense of your experience. Whether you are navigating ADHD and anxiety, or a family seeking specialized geriatric support for a loved one, you are supported. My practice is rooted in a trauma-focused lens and informed by my training in EMDR. I specialize in helping clients untangle complex trauma and "family of origin" patterns that impact mental health. Beyond traditional talk therapy, I have extensive experience supporting individuals with Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, and PTSD, gained from working with unhoused people in New York and a inpatient geriatric psychiatric hospital, ensuring that even the most complex symptoms are met with compassion and clinical expertise.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a first-generation American, I bring a deep understanding of how displacement, societal systems, and cultural identity shape our well-being. I provide virtual sessions in English and Mandarin, creating a safe space for all backgrounds and sexualities to seek clarity and liberation.
