About My Clients
I love working with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship and friendship conflicts, family issues, life transitions, spirituality issues, cross-cultural stress, identity concerns, and trauma.
My Background and Approach
I will use cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy techniques to help you identify the root of your concerns and empower you to heal what can be changed and healthily cope with what cannot. I believe in taking a holistic approach by looking at you and your environment to understand how we can achieve meaningful, long-lasting relief. While working together, we will collaborate to identify your goals and how to reach them while navigating the bumps along the way.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that each one of us has the power and ability to heal, regulate, and build resilience when given the support we need. There is an innate power within us to find balance that can be harnessed for our holistic well-being. This relates to therapeutic practice because I aim to treat each individual as a whole person and considering how ones' environment, relationships, and circumstances play a role in their mental health status. This means considering the the role that race, class, ethnic identity, culture, religion, gender expression and sexual orientation play in how we show up in the world, process experiences, and are seen by others. I believe every human being regardless of their identity deserves to receive the highest quality of care, be treated with respect, and have access to the resources to live safe and fulfilling lives.
