Going through a life transition? Has life thrown you a curveball that you didn't see coming? I am here to help you sort out purpose and meaning in the messiness of life. My ideal clients are adults, couples or families that are open to exploring their previous hurts and develop a healthy sense of self. If you are interested in a faith journey and learning about your communication style and temperament, we could be a great fit! New Parents or Mom's juggling work and life balance are welcome!
My Background and Approach
I am trained in CBT, Motivational interviewing, faith based counseling, and Mindfulness based therapies and often use an existential approach to help clients explore purpose and connection. I possess a Master's degree in Social Work as well as a Master's degree in Religion. I have personal recovery experience as well as 7 years of experience working with individuals with mental health and substance abuse disorders.

Hello! I believe that counseling is a significant step taken to help sort out the curveballs of life. I see counseling as a unique opportunity to uncover meaning in life and learn skills to manage discomfort and the effects of trauma. I have experience with adults and children who have experienced mental illness, trauma, addiction and relationship challenges. I offer a non-judgmental approach to recovery and support harm reduction practices.
