About My Clients

I work only with couples and am friendly and non-judgmental towards all people including being affirmative towards LGBTQIA+ members, affirming first responders including police and military members, am faith-based friendly, and strive to be culturally sensitive and aware towards all. I am almost finished with a training specific to working with first responders. I have done hundreds of hours of police ride alongs and am aware of the culture.

My Background and Approach

I am an attachment-based therapist using the emotionally focused therapy modality because I feel that in order to heal, we must go more deeply into ourselves and build stronger attachments with those closest to us. I aspire to provide a safe place for clients to be vulnerable and develop stronger attachment bonds while knowing that I will hold and make space during those brave and vulnerable moments clients have with each other. I am currently working on my PhD in Clinical Sexology with an estimated graduation date of October 2024. I am currently working on a Certified First Responder Associate (CFRA) to specialize in working with couples where one or both are a first responder. In 2022 I completed a 6 day training on grief, loss, and trauma.
