About My Clients
My main focus area is first-generation Americans and people from diverse sociocultural backgrounds who are moving through life transitions, experiencing career challenges, exploring their identity, or working through challenging family dynamics. I also enjoy working with female-identifying clients working through anxiety, depression, trauma, perfectionism, and imposter syndrome to become fully confident in themselves.
My Background and Approach
Facing life’s challenges with autonomy, confidence, and self reliance leads to growth. By cultivating resilience, you'll build your inner strength and become more secure in your sense of self. Many of my clients identify as women or first-generation Americans who are struggling with life transitions, anxiety, impostor syndrome, or finding the language to describe their mental health. I hold these identities myself, so I understand what it’s like to navigate the nuances of who you are and push back against the stigma that persists around mental health. I’ve made it my mission to help overcome this stigma so my clients can explore their sense of self and belonging. As we collaborate toward your goals, I’ll provide structure in sessions while gently encouraging self-exploration. We might discuss your identity, cultural influences, and your personal values. We’ll also build upon your innate talents and capabilities to increase your confidence, independence, and overall well-being.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Humans are biologically wired for social connection. Therapy is one avenue to build social support and community with others who align with your personal beliefs and values.
