I work with individuals and couples and specialize in mindfulness-based and somatic approaches. My passions focus on relationship dynamics and attachment, non-traditional relationship structures, queer identities, kink, women's empowerment, sexuality/sensuality, and sex work. My hope is that you will feel inspired and empowered to live a life that feels embodied and fulfilling!
My Background and Approach
Relationships are portals to self-discovery, and I believe that connections of all kinds (beginning with the one you have with yourself) are the spice of life - essential to wellbeing and thriving. This is why I love helping individuals and couples develop awareness and skills to cultivate self-acceptance and navigate complexity. I view each client as a whole, healthy, multi-faceted person who exists within many interconnected systems. My approach involves becoming aware of somatic sensations, recognizing emotions, and uncovering authentic desires to be able to move through these systems in an empowered way.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I resonate with Person-Centered, Somatic, Internal Family Systems, Attachment Theory, Gestalt Techniques, and Jungian beliefs. However, therapy will be tailored to each of my clients because what we create in the therapy room is unique to each individual or couple. My hope is that clients will feel safe to explore their own terrain in the therapeutic space, so that we can unearth the hard things that may have been hidden. In this way, we can embrace the messiness, beauty, and nuances that make up our humanity. Finding the right therapist can be hard which is why I offer a full, 20-minute consultation free of charge with my assistant Kashmira to discuss your therapy goals, see if you are a good fit for my practice.
