About My Clients

I tend to work with people who are experiencing anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, substance use disorders and relational challenges. I also have experience working with members of the LGBTQ+ and poly communities. I see it as an honor and a privilege to work collaboratively with my clients and bear witness to their stories and vulnerabilities’, their strengths and their resiliency.

My Background and Approach

My approach to therapy is holistic, engaging and centered around highlighting my client’s strengths so that these can be harnessed to help them reach their goals. I employ both psychodynamic and behaviorally oriented approaches and specialize treating anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders, and relational issues. I also have training in mindfulness based stress reduction (MBSR) through the Thomas Jefferson Myrna Brind Center for Mindfulness, as well as formal training in trauma treatment and trauma informed care. I strive to create a therapeutic environment that is warm, inviting and serves as a safe space for my clients to explore their past experiences and thought patterns in a way that will allow them to heal and live the life they've always wanted to.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I practice from a vantage point that is sex/kink positive, rooted in intersectional feminism, and prioritizes the health and safety of all marginalized populations including but not limited to members of the LGBTQIA+ population, racial and ethnic minorities and female identifying individuals.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
