About My Clients
You can expect a safe and nonjudgmental space to address your concerns. In this, our goals will be to discover healthy and appropriate coping skills to managing mental health concerns. In doing so, you will have a better understanding of yourself and the concerns that bought you to see me while learning to live a healthier and more fulfilling life.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Minnesota as of March 1st of 2023. I graduated in 2017 with my Masters of Science degree in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. Since entering the field five years ago, I have worked with clients around general mental health concerns and healthy sexuality, especially the impacts this can have on a person's mental health. I have an integrative approach to counseling that includes: person-centered, strength-based, trauma informed care, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I want to know your story and what brought you to see me. Only through this can we find a path forward that is best for you and your needs.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My belief is that we all have the tools within us to make the change we are looking for. In this, I work with clients to identify what strengths they can currently see in various areas, and how they can apply these to other areas. I also find it important to hear of each person's experiences, as it can even differ from others that might identify in similar ways. In knowing your story, and how those experiences have made you the person in front of me today is important to find solutions that are best suited for you, your goals, and your values.
