About My Clients
Do you feel stuck or dissatisfied? Or have you been waiting to make a change? There are risks to address some of these feelings and thoughts and is a bit unnerving to start. My Background and Approach
I have experience working with individuals and couples in different stages of life and varying cultural and faith backgrounds. I have worked with clients on a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, stress, ADHD, transitions, immigration issues, parenting, relationships and trauma. I strive to help clients feel unstuck with increased hope through a collaborative relationship and providing a safe place for them to share their story without feeling judgment. I am also a certified trauma professional and have a trauma informed perspective in counseling. I also understand that at different times in our life, our levels of capacities and tolerance change. We will practice tools in session to help increase capacity and tolerance levels.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have also undergone my own counseling and healing processes, which has lead to my passion in being a support to others. In my own experiences, I have learned that our body is a great resource as a record of our past and agent of change. I have also learned that we have a lot of automatic physiological responses to circumstances, which may contribute to feeling stuck. There are tangible strategies that we can do to help us live in an intentional manner. I believe that we can grow and create new neural pathways at any age.
