I have extensive experience and training with existential therapy. This approach is especially relevant for me when working with teens who are stuck in cycles of depression, engaged in problematic substance use, or impacted by trauma.

I have extensive experience and training in attachment-based approaches and believe firmly that therapeutic change happens when therapeutic relationships are effective and meaningful. With this in mind, attachment-based approaches informs almost everything I do as a therapist.

I have significant advanced training in motivational interviewing, as well as other change theories such as stages-of-change. I believe firmly that change is a process, not an event. With that in mind, my goal as a helper is to meet clients where they're at and assist them in making the next step.

I have 20 years experience providing counseling to youth and young adults. In addition, I regularly present professional development trainings for other therapists on topics related to increasing treatment efficacy with teens.
