About My Clients
I have gained extensive education and experience in treating adjudicated and dependent adolescents who struggle with substance use and mental health related concerns. I have also found a passion for working with young adults who wish to improve boundaries and build self-esteem.
My Background and Approach
received a Masters of Science of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Duquesne University in 2017.I use a person-centered approach in my practice, meaning I tailor my approach to each individual client's needs and goals. I utilize a variety of treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Motivational Interviewing. My aim is to create a safe and comfortable space for my clients to utilize in whichever way they wish. I love incorporating humor into the therapy space and pride myself as being non-judgmental and open-minded. I am also LGBTQIA+ affirmative. Lastly, I have a great love for cats, enjoy playing games of all sorts, engaging with different parts of pop culture, and spending quality time with my friends and family.
