About My Clients
You're my ideal client if you're dealing with anxiety, perfectionism, and feeling like your worth is tied to what you achieve or how you care for others. You may have complex relationships with food, alcohol, or emotions like anger and want more than just coping strategies. You're seeking a deeper understanding of yourself and are ready to heal from past traumas, losses, and wounds while building genuine self-esteem, confidence, and compassion.
My Background and Approach
With a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Texas Woman’s University, I bring years of specialized experience working with trauma, anxiety, and life transitions. I’m certified in Brainspotting and the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), which allows me to help clients access deeper emotional processing, release trauma, and foster resilience. I support clients in tuning into their nervous systems to better understand their emotional and physical responses to stress. My therapeutic approach is collaborative and holistic, focusing on the whole person. Whether you're navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship struggles, or simply finding your way through life’s challenges, I believe in creating a personalized therapy experience that resonates with your unique needs. I use a variety of therapeutic modalities to support a stronger connection between the body and mind, helping you build self-awareness, cultivate emotional balance, and ultimately move toward healing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I deeply believe in the power of healing through safe, connected relationships, and I emphasize the importance of co-regulation and community support in my practice. Whether it's navigating trauma, anxiety, or major life transitions, I see meaningful connection as essential to the healing process. I value authenticity, growth, and adventure—both in and outside of therapy—and I strive to bring these values into every session. As a therapist, I’m passionate about helping clients reclaim their sense of safety and build resilience. My approach to trauma work is rooted in creating a non-judgmental, compassionate space where we can explore your story together. I advocate for the importance of listening to your own inner wisdom as a guide to healing and self-discovery. Outside of work, I find peace in nature and love spending time with my dogs, which helps restore my own nervous system. This connection to nature and animals is a grounding force in my life.
