I started this work because I heard from clients that they had tried multiple therapists and therapies in the past, but never found help to feel better. Still, they wanted help, and these clients and conversations stuck with me. Helping people that feel like they've tried everything already is what led me to start my own practice. I focus on keeping current in research on new forms of therapy, learning and providing new treatments, and always keeping the focus on what works.
Those conversations remind me - every person has incredible strength that has helped them continue moving forward even when they thought it was impossible. Sometimes, they just need someone to help lead them or walk with them to get going, and that's why I do this work. It's important to me that my sessions be nonjudgmental - where you can feel safe enough to be vulnerable, introspective, and maybe even add some lightness or humor to difficult conversations.
