"Relationships and marriages can be a source of great joy and fulfillment, but they can also be a source of stress and conflict. My approach to treating relationship and marriage issues is based on evidence-based techniques such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method. These techniques help couples to understand, express and communicate their emotions.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is a type of therapy that is designed to help individuals and couples understand and express their emotions and develop deeper connections in their relationships. EFT is an evidence-based therapy that has been found to be effective in treating relationship issues, such as communication problems, trust issues, and difficulties with intimacy. In EFT, the therapist works with clients to identify patterns of behavior that may be causing difficulties in their life.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a type of therapy that is designed to help individuals understand and work with the different parts or sub-personalities that make up their inner self. It is an evidence-based approach that assumes that every person has an innate capacity for self-leadership and healing. IFS therapy assumes that within each person, there are different parts of the self, each with its own distinct personality, emotions, and experiences.

As an EMDR trained therapist, I use a research-backed approach to treat trauma and PTSD. By guiding clients through a structured process that involves recalling traumatic memories while using bilateral stimulation, we can safely reprocess and reduce the intensity of these memories. With continued EMDR therapy, clients often report a reduction in symptoms and improved mental health. My goal is to provide a safe environment for clients to work through their trauma and move toward healing.
