About My Clients
I currently work with people 15 years old and older. I help my clients work through uncomfortable emotions and stabilize their moods. I work with a broad range of concerns/co-occurring disorders including, ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, self-harm, Adjustment Disorder, substance use disorder, and Mood Disorders. I take a holistic approach to get to know my clients and their needs to understand what type of supports and coping skills they need for them to heal.
My Background and Approach
I am an empathetic counselor who wholeheartedly embraces a holistic approach to well-being. I am dedicated to nurturing and supporting an individual’s emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. Drawing inspiration from Adlerian and person-centered therapy, I incorporate strength-based approaches and expressive arts into my therapeutic practice. I believe in the power of humor within therapeutic sessions, aiming to cultivate a safe and welcoming environment that encourages individuals to embrace and express their authentic selves. I have experience in and specialize in using art in therapy, behavioral issues, body image, life transitions, work related stressors/burnout, neurodivergence, life coaching, substance use, college mental health, school-aged clients, self-esteem, trauma, self-harm, and suicidal ideation. Beyond my professional pursuits, I enjoy outdoor adventures with my dog, traveling, creating art, and video games.
