About My Clients

Do you struggle sharing your thoughts & feelings with your partner? Are you easily distracted when listening to one another? I know how this feels because these have been my struggles too. As someone living with ADHD, I've learned to trust my partner and implement tools to overcome distractions. Feeling deeply connected to your partner can be challenging when you feel pulled in so many directions. I'm passionate about helping people find each other again amidst the chaos of life.

My Background and Approach

My practice is primarily attachment-based through the lens of Family Systems Therapy. Using EFT, we'll explore expressing your emotions freely without judgment to understand the needs attached to them. Over time, you'll learn to share your emotions and turn towards one another rather than away regarding your unmet needs. I want my clients to feel equipped to connect with their partner so I teach communication, emotional regulation, and intimacy growth skills. My desire is for life to flow through you rather than at you. For individuals, I primarily use a modality called IFS paired with ADHD-specific skills that help them feel confident in their decision-making as well as understand how to slow their fast brain. I'll show you how to clear the brain fog so you can find the clarity you need. It can be challenging to ask for help, especially when it wasn't modeled for us. Yet you are taking the first step in finding a deeper connection. Let's find the calm in the chaos together.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Once upon a time, I was stuck in a disconnected and pretty toxic marriage. The twist? I had no clue about my ADHD. My inner people-pleaser called the shots, leaving me searching for my identity in everyone else's opinions. The result? I felt like a robotic mess – simultaneously numb and scattered. It was a weird and isolating place. Now, fast forward to the plot twist of my dreams – meeting my wife and stepping into the most wonderful marriage I could've imagined. Enter our son, and things took a turn. While my wife was completely enchanted by our second child, I struggled to connect. Lost once again, my insecurities and unhealthy coping mechanisms wreaked havoc on my life, affecting my relationship with both my wife and son. The turning point? Embracing the discomfort and the unknown. This vulnerability became my path to healing, connection, and a complete life/parental transformation. Your story can unfold the same way. It's never too late to find you some relief. Let's connect.
