About My Clients
If you are struggling in your relationship, either with a spouse, partner, or teen, I am here to help bridge the gap. I love working with adolescents, teens, young adults, and couples! I specialize in eating disorders, as well as, pre-marital and couples counseling. I connect well with all age groups, but especially teens, young adults, and those in various transition stages of their life or relationships.
My Background and Approach
I am specially trained in Family Based Treatment (FBT) and CBT-E, used to help those with eating disorders begin their path to recovery. I am straight forward in my approach and will keep you informed along the way. I am an advocate for collaboration- I want to know what's working and what isn't, because this is YOUR therapy experience! I am Level 2 Gottman Method Couples Therapy trained and use this in my practice with relationships. If you are struggling, have experienced infidelity, things have become 'stale', or just want to spice things up- I can work with you to facilitate change and improve your relationship.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
You are the expert of your life, I am just here to listen. I entered this field after working in the emergency setting of 911. The people I encountered were from all backgrounds and the stories they told were heartbreaking, disappointing, and even inspiring. It was then that I decided I did not just want to be the first responder, I wanted to be there for them after the crisis was over and when it seemed like no one else was there to listen. You have a voice, and I want to hear it.
