About My Clients
Seeing a new therapist can be an intimidating process, and I do my best to create a welcoming and non judgmental space for clients. My main focus in therapy is to help clients move towards their goals, reduce their anxiety and stress, and to get out of autopilot and start living again. This is a different experience for everyone depending on their goals which can range from creating new coping skills, finding opportunities to set boundaries, or just having a safe space to process challenges.
My Background and Approach
I strongly believe in adapting my approach to each individual client. It's important to me to get to know every client's background and style to find the approach/intervention that works best. Therapy with me is a collaborative process where we work together to best meet your needs and work towards your therapy goals. My therapy style tends to be easy going and I communicate directly (though not harshly). It has always been important to me to know the "why" behind concepts so I try my best to explain how concepts I suggest work and why I might suggest them. I'm always welcoming of feedback and being challenged. I'm currently doing telehealth only in the state of WA.
