About My Clients

I work with older adolescents and adults who are seeking support for a range of experiences, including anxiety and stress, depression and other mood disorders, life transitions, grief and loss, gender identity, and neurodivergence. I am also passionate about supporting couples and people in all types of relationships with a focus on premarital counseling, attachment issues, divorce, infidelity, sex drive discrepancies, and ethical non-monogamy.

My Background and Approach

I believe the space between therapist and client is key to effective therapy, and I care deeply about forging an authentic, genuine relationship with each person who comes into my room. Together, we co-create a place to explore your feelings, thoughts, behaviors, experiences, and sociocultural context. My approach is eclectic and integrative, drawing from humanistic, psychodynamic, relational, and Imago theories. As a trained Imago Therapist, I help clients gain insight into their relational dynamics, explore how their early experiences and attachments affect their present relationships, establish safety with their partners, communicate more effectively, and gain tools to repair and grow together. Using the unique and effective Imago structure, I help clients maintain an environment free from negativity and criticism, creating empathy, connection, and healing.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I value a therapeutic space in which all people feel welcome, understood, listened to, and valued, and I am committed to affirming all gender, sexual, ethnocultural, national, and religious identities. I welcome individuals of all racial and ethnic backgrounds, gender identities, sexual orientations, religious practices, size, and ability statuses with humility, openness, and respect. I actively invite discussions about our unique and intersecting identities into the therapeutic space we create, and I am committed to educating myself and engaging in self-reflection so that I can identify blind spots created by my privilege and empathize with experiences unlike my own.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
