About My Clients
Being part of the LGBTQIA or Poly community in the South can be BEYOND isolating. You feel pressured to hide your identity, struggling to find acceptance from your friends and family, all while trying to navigate the coming out process or transition. You feel stuck. Unsure of your identity. Tired of questioning. Uncomfortable in the skin you're in. You just want to feel like yourself and be able to go out with your partner(s) without the constant nagging fears and insecurities.
My Background and Approach
I’m an LMFT, which means I look at every problem as a complex system of relationships. My therapy style is direct and playful. I’m not afraid to push you out of your comfort zone, but I promise to be with you every step of the way. Breaking down insecurities and building you back up into the most bad ass version of yourself is my passion. I’m excited to walk with you hand in hand, discovering new ways to become more authentic, more joyful, and stick it to the man.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe authenticity and connection are the keys to feeling like the best version of yourself. Norms that society promotes can feel crushing to anyone who doesn't fit within that pretty little box and my goal is to help you find freedom from everyone else's expectations. Therapy can sometimes seem scary, but doing that deep dive into learning more about yourself is one of the most rewarding things you could ever do. I’m ready when you are.
