About My Clients
You are there when people need it most and provide your best to those who feel their worst. You provide support, care, and help to heal others in need. And along the way, you found it too easy to ignore your own personal care and needs. I am passionate about support and therapy for caregivers because truth be told, it is often those who take on the weight of the world for others who could use someone to listen and provide trusted guidance.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, and my specialties include individuals struggling with anxiety, stress, self-doubt, perfectionism, grief and loss, life transitions as well as highly sensitive people. I utilize ACT Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, and Brainspotting. The center of my practice is based upon humility and transparency, and I focus on customized treatment plans to meet your unique, individual therapy needs. My approach to healing is making sure your story is heard, two-way conversations and providing tools that lighten the weight on your shoulders and develop skills to help you advance towards self-acceptance.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
If there’s anything certain about being an adult, it is that we will all have experienced life changes, grief & loss, stress, and will have carried heavy loads throughout our lives. These are weights we have carried in the past, present and are certain to carry in the future. If you are struggling, know you are not alone, and support is available. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed from stress, suffer from perfectionism, are harboring deep traumas, or are experiencing anxiety or grief & loss, I am here to listen and help guide you on a healing journey. My approaches to counseling for adults are to help you uncover feelings, and to build awareness around negative feelings your body is holding onto. We will work collaboratively so that I can understand your experiences and help you to build self-acceptance, compassion, and mindfulness. My training to therapy for adults is built from a foundation of empathy, humility, openness, and nonjudgmental support.
