About My Clients
Do you feel lost or misunderstood in your marriage? With 30 years of marriage and having adult children, I understand the challenges of communication, emotional connection, and emotional safety. I have worked with elder couples who have adult children struggling with mental illnesses such as addiction, depression, and anxiety. I have experience working in diverse cultures and backgrounds in outpatient clinics, large healthcare systems, and private practices.
My Background and Approach
I believe everyone has a voice and deserves to feel safe, respected, loved, and heard. Neurodiverse couples can have different communication styles and perspectives, making intimate and loving relationships a challenge. I am part of a group that works with NEURODIVERSE COUPLES AND INDIVIDUALS dedicated to supporting Neurodiversity and providing effective tools and best practice treatment to reduce stressors and move toward healing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Because everyone sees the world differently, a neurodiverse couple has a unique perspective. Do you want to learn tools to deepen trust and understand how each partner views their experiences? I will help guide you to focus on new ways to celebrate each other, reconnect, and interpret intention successfully in a safe client-centered environment. I belong to a group of therapists who have come together to treat the neurodiverse community with respect with the goal to develop a robust set of tools to help neurodiverse couples. My approach is to provide neurodiverse healing from a strength-based approach. We understand that the trauma of past misunderstandings needs to be healed in a gentle way. We share best practices for neurodiverse therapy amongst the team so we can offer you a beneficial experience. We offer integrated therapy where the couple therapy itself is synchronized to move to the same goals.
