My Background and Approach
Therapy should be a space where you can be authentic without fear of judgement- we have too many spaces where women can’t let their guard down and be real, but my virtual couch is not one of them. Our sessions will be at a pace that it right for you. I want to give you space to explore the issues keeping you stuck, challenge problem narratives, and consider new possibilities and goals. My experience working with millennial women and Women of Color has shown me that you can live authentically and put the anxiety, perfectionism, or trauma behind you. My belief is that with understanding the full extent of the problems you are facing; you can work through them and start living your best life! My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that every woman has the potential to heal the wounds of the past, put those anxious thoughts to rest, and ditch perfectionism for authenticity, but there are very real barriers that make this difficult. As a result, understanding the cultural, political, and social factors that have allowed your problems to exist and grow is important. You do not exist in a vacuum and your therapy shouldn’t either. If we are going to create lasting change, we need to understand your problems and their purpose. I believe having these tough conversations can be transformative and help you gain a clearer understanding of your dreams and desires and how to navigate your world in an authentic way.
