About My Clients
I specialize in working with People of Color to process racial trauma, Christians to process faith-related trauma, and Women wanting to work through any aspect of life. My personal connection to these areas makes for a therapeutic environment in which you can connect safely with someone in ways you may have never experienced.
My Background and Approach
I am a newly graduated counselor, but she has over five years of experience in the mental health field. She has worked in substance abuse clinics, social anxiety research studies, and inpatient mental health care units. Additionally, I have worked in behavioral health as a Registered Behavior Technician, providing ABA services to children with autism diagnoses. My educational background includes a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Palm Beach Atlantic University, and a Bachelor’s in Psychology with a minor in Crime, Law, and Deviance from the University of Central Florida.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My heart is to help bring healing to areas that are often overlooked or neglected. It is my hope that more people will come to know themselves and their stories more intimately, and then be able to move through life with a greater sense of freedom. I also volunteer in the Dominican Republic with the goal of one day being able to provide mental health services to communities in need.
