I can help you navigate these waters of self doubt and find the life you love.
My Background and Approach
My overall approach is client-centered, trauma-informed, and strengths based. Other modalities I use are CBT, DBT, Narrative therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution Focused Therapy. I have a particular passion in working with young adults as they learn to navigate the world. I enjoy working with people who are struggling with depression, mood instability, anxiety, interpersonal relationships, complex trauma, chronic stress, workplace or academic stress, setting boundaries, and making life adjustments. I have years of experience and a willingness to learn about each individual client who seeks services in order to best suit their needs. I have gained knowledge and experience working with youth, individuals, and families of all ages with diverse, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. I have experience working with Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, and Substance Abuse. I have worked in community-based, outpatient, and hospital settings.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have a very strong passion for helping others. I enjoy being able to recognize strengths in others, and feel fulfilled when I can help them see it within themselves. I believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to grow at their own pace and to let acceptance and safety direct learning and healing. My goal is to teach you how to cope with stress, complex trauma, anxiety, depression, mood instability and empower you to live the life you want.
