I've received training in multiple evidence-based approaches to treating anxiety. I incorporate mindfulness and somatic-based techniques in addition to traditional "talk therapy" that focuses more on thoughts and behaviors. I find that this dual approach allows clients to feel less controlled by anxious feelings and more empowered to live life on their terms.

I enjoy integrating mindfulness practices to build self-compassion and identify different parts within. I pull from the practice of Psychologist Tara Brach as well as IFS/ego states.

I've studied and practiced a Person-Centered approach to therapy, incorporating my own accurate empathy, authenticity, and non-judgment.

I believe a somatic approach is particularly important in working with anxiety. I incorporate an understanding of the nervous system and facilitate embodiment to help reduce debilitating symptoms.
