About My Clients
Therapy is a space to talk about your deepest hurts and fears. To do that, you need to feel like you can trust the person you’re talking to. I have years of experience sitting with people grieving losses and going through big transitions. I know how to sit with sadness without trying to fix it. I am not afraid of grief, or anger. I also work with people who struggle with intimacy and vulnerability. And others, who have grown frustrated with food or body image distress.
My Background and Approach
Sometimes our troubles come from inside and sometimes they are a result of the things that happen to us. Together, we will spend time with both, giving voice and care to parts of the self that have been overlooked or overwhelmed. I work with clients to better understand where their difficult emotions are rooted, and explore feelings that may feel stuck or misplaced. We’ll work on understanding your emotions. Sometimes that will mean paying attention to where they are showing up in your body. With intentional care and support, emotional freedom and ease can be found.
