My Background and Approach
I am certified in EMDR and utilize this therapeutic approach in conjunction with other approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing. I hold a master’s degree in clinical social work from the University of Minnesota, and have over 10 years of experience providing clinical services to in a variety of mental health settings. A majority of my professional career has been providing individual therapy to adults with a focus on the treatment of trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, self-esteem issues, life transitions, relationship issues, and boundaries.
