My job is to listen to the situation you are trying to improve and point out themes or patterns that may help you reflect and think through your actions and feelings.
I will be listening for aspects of your experience, thoughts and emotions that may be useful to explore further. This does not mean that I am pointing out ‘you got this wrong,’ or ‘you better look at this a bit more carefully.’
It is simply an invitation to be more attentive to the way you operate in your everyday thinking, experiencing and acting.
Looking at your experience from a different angle can provide more options of how to get what you want. Additionally, looking at your assumptions and opinions will help you to get to know yourself better. When you are more self aware you will feel much stronger in yourself.
