About My Clients
My online practice serves adult women who desire to incorporate their faith in counseling as well as those who seek traditional counseling. All are welcome. I provide a supportive space via virtual therapy for persons who struggle with stress, grief/loss, and postpartum concerns. Virtual counseling conveniently allows access to care for individuals who have busy lives or live in areas where therapy options are limited from the comfort of you own home.
My Background and Approach
When working with individuals, I view therapy as a collaborative approach that considers the mind, body, and spirit. My desire is to assist you with addressing the emotional, behavioral, relational and spiritual needs. This requires meeting you wherever you are in life with acceptance and compassion while exploring concerns and learning new ways to cope with problems. My hope is for you to become healed from the pain life has thrust your way and that you begin to walk in the fullness of who you are called you to be. For the past several years, I have provided services in schools, medical settings, and community based mental health programs. My work provided the opportunity to obtain knowledge in the areas of loss, anxiety, divorce, aging, and teen pregnancy. While my treatment approach is effective for a range of concerns, my current practice model does not support severe and persistent mental illness, those needing frequent between session intervention, or substance abuse.
