About My Clients
Are you struggling with a loss, feeling tired, sad, or afraid to go out into the public? Are you struggling with your sense of identity and place in the world? Are you trying to figure out how to align your values with what you do day to day? These are all things that I hope to be able to guide you through.
My Background and Approach
My charge, with your permission, is to help you find a way to bring what you work on in session into the real world. We can get to the bottom of what your values are. We can discuss what your beliefs are about yourself and the world. And we can figure out how to balance your thoughts so you can carry out tasks to live the life you want to live. This can help with your anxiety, depression, and grief. I have special focused training in CBT, Grief, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. All are tools that I try to integrate into sessions for your ongoing benefit.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone has the right to compassion, understanding, and empathy. I strive to make our space free of judgment and conducive to growth. I believe that people are experts in themselves and have the power to change under supportive conditions.
