About My Clients
On the outside our struggles might look different, but at the end of the day, we all want to feel better. I help people who are: • anxious • overwhelmed • grieving • caught in negative patterns of thinking or behaving • struggling with feelings of shame and self-doubt • exhausted of their inner critic • ready for change.
My Background and Approach
Whether facing grief after a loss, unmanaged anxiety, or feelings of not being enough, I believe we each have within us everything we need to live healthy, wholehearted lives. And, I love supporting clients as you discover your inner wisdom and practice newly acquired skills. I’m fortunate to have worked in a variety of fields, and my experiences as a board certified coach and hospital chaplain inform and enhance my counseling. As a Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator, I apply Brené Brown’s research around courage building, uncovering the power of vulnerability, and shame resilience to my work with clients. My approach to counseling is open, honest, & supportive. My #1 goal is to provide safe space where you can explore, ask hard questions, & face your challenges with courage & confidence.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe you matter. Your story matters. Your mental and emotional health and wellness matter. You deserve a wholehearted and fulfilling life, and I believe you have what you need to move forward with courage and hope. My bottom line is this: life can be hard. You don’t have to go it alone. I'm here to help you feel better and have the tools you need to do the work of therapy.
