Individual therapy online in SC and in person in Charleston | Grief & Loss | Courage building, Shame resilience & the power of Vulnerability
Associate Professional Counselor in Charleston, SC
Supervised by Kelly Quarles, LPC/S
As a Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator, I am trained in Brené Brown's work on shame, courage and vulnerability. Often, issues of low-self esteem are linked to limiting beliefs and experiences of shame. I can help you work through the barriers preventing you from living wholeheartedly.
I have training as a Life Coach in addition to my counseling education. I have extensive experience working with individuals, groups, and businesses as they envision what's next. Whether it's from one job to another, transitioning into single-hood after divorce, or full-time parenting into empty nesting, I can support your exploration and next steps.
Grief comes in many forms. Sometimes it's the loss of a loved one, but we also experience grief when we have to let go of a dream or a particular way of living. Parents grieve transitions between various stages in their children's lives. Grief and loss are woven into everyday life often in ways we experience but don't know how to name. I can help you name and process your grief and support you as you move forward.
I believe the therapeutic relationship is key in the success of the therapy endeavor. I strive to practice and model good boundaries and open communication in session to encourage a strong sense of identity and authenticity in the client.
