You are the authority on how you describe yourself or your experience; not me. We will work together as you challenge your comfort zones and begin to realize could and can trust yourself.
My Background and Approach
You can explore ways to respond and interact with your world in this confidential space. A space where we can discuss how supremacy culture impacts mental and physical health, as well as ways to navigate systems built without you or your success in mind. As someone with lived experience, I am willing to offer this as a way normalize the human experience and to shift the inherent dynamics in oppressive systems. Our responses can be expressed as anxious perfection, substance use we want to shift, a lack of trusting relationships, inability to focus, or seeing and hearing things others cannot. Here for it all, you will be offered space that can anchor you in your understanding of self, even when we disagree.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
When I'm not exchanging my time for money to exist in society, I can be found cherishing moments with my chosen family and friends; near and far. I also enjoy moving to the sound of hi-hats and 808s, attempting to garden, thinking about things, and finding stillness in chaos. Legislatively, I participate on subjects addressing gender based violence, foster care, as well as food and housing insecurity. I support the Land Back movement. There's always room to discuss how supremacy culture impacts health, how my privilege intersects with oppression and privilege alike, as well as ways to navigate systems built without you or your success in mind.
