About My Clients
Are you struggling as we ascend the pandemic? Do you feel anxious, depressed, or unsure how you feel (you just know you aren't your normal self)? I'm here to help you. I assist adults in overcoming symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. I can guide you into gaining greater insight into your self, how you see the world, and can give you the skills to relieve your symptoms. If you're struggling, I get it and I want to help you feel better.
My Background and Approach
In therapy, I use a mixture of self-compassion, person-centered, cognitive-behavioral (CBT), somatic, and EMDR approaches to guide you through difficult times. I believe it is important that therapy is client-led. In therapy, we will work with thoughts, emotions, behaviors, bodily responses to gain insight into self and to relieve symptoms. I am also a trauma-competent provider.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
“The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are.” - Carl Jung. There is no limit to human capacity, and I believe that each of us has limitless potential. However, we sometimes feel stuck due to our circumstances or past. We don't have to stay here. Learning self-compassion and other techniques can help us achieve our true potentials.
