I love working with folks who want to take a deep dive into healing patterns that they feel are holding them back from living a life that feels full and meaningful. Maybe you have tendency to people please even though it drains you. Or maybe you get triggered in your relationship with your partner and you're not sure how to change. Maybe there are times your anxiety or depression takes over and it feels impossible to get out of it. I love helping folks go from awareness into lasting change.

Are you frustrated with yourself about letting fear drive your decisions? Do you experience negative self talk such as -You are a failure, You are not worthy, and You don’t matter! The harder you try to make those painful thoughts go away, the more power they seem to have and the more you believe them. You stuff down your emotions and feel disconnected from others and ultimately yourself. I am here to guide and support you as explore those emotions and connect back to yourself with compassion.
I am strongly connected with non-traditional individuals and relationships, and work to cultivate a safe place for all people, most frequently working with clients in queer, ethically non-monogamous, & kink communities. I have specialized training and experience working with families in transition, particularly prenatal and postpartum periods. My clients are typically navigating life transitions, such as relationship beginning/end, moves, college/career change, and any explorations of identity.
I accompany you on your journey to harness your creativity, power, and motivation. I will be with you in your pain and your joy. I prefer swimming in the deep waters: exploring the bigger questions around the meaning of life and death, how to find and maintain fulfilling relationships, how to thrive in our precious, finite time here.
Do you sometimes feel like you are bad at being an adult? All of the "little" things required to function feel impossible to keep up with, so how are you ever supposed to get to those big goals and dreams you have? And how do others make it look so easy? The people I work with are vibrant and creative, yet often feel a deep sense of inner chaos, overwhelm, and shame just beneath the surface. If this is you, let's connect to talk about how I can help!
Are you struggling with frequent anxiety, panic attacks, or social anxiety? My name is Lauren Timkovich, I'm a therapist who helps people struggling with all types of anxiety. Anxiety can be (at best) constant and consuming, or (at worst) absolutely debilitating. Very few people talk openly about how their thoughts may be constantly running through the same negative ideas, or scanning for something that could go wrong, or how painful, scary, and exhausting this can all be!

Has the fun stopped but you keep partying? Are you tired of waiting for your partner to change? All too often we find ourselves repeating the same behaviors, pursing the same types of relationships, and feeling frustrated with the same emotional experiences. We get stuck in a cycle that often leaves us feeling disconnected, misunderstood, and undervalued. I work specifically with individuals and partners struggling with addiction, relationship issues and recovery from narcissistic abuse.
Many clients who work with me are ready for their relationships to heal and their sexual lives to improve. They notice that they are stuck in the same unhealthy and unproductive patterns in their relationships or dating experiences. They feel motivated to improve their confidence and pleasure with intimacy, but they feel stuck in how to reach these goals on their own. I can help to identify the patterns, beliefs, and emotions that are standing in the way of your relationship and sexual health.
I provide therapy to Queer and Neurodivergent people by focusing on making ease of change through reflection, intention, and learning to feel. People who seek out the my help generally have not had the space or guidance to explore the complexity of thier identity, which often leads to feelings of worry and confusion. I help people reconnect to their unique inner landscape through exploration of the mind & body connection.
Your anxiety is through the roof and you can’t stomach being in your own skin. This isn't how you envisioned life would be. Ashamed and insecure, you conceal that reality behind the lie of your smile. You ruminate about everything and never feel good enough. A master of hiding and avoiding, you're exhausted from trying and long for real connection. You're embarrassed to even look for help but you know you can't go on like this forever.

Do you feel stuck? Do you feel like you know all the rules and what you are “supposed to do” but somehow can’t get where you want to go? As your therapist, it is my goal to help you feel at home in your mind, body, and heart. My clients tend to be intelligent humans who feel caught in their anxious minds, trauma, or simply desire support in living a more authentic and meaningful life. I work with people suffering from trauma, anxiety, life changes, grief, eating disorders, depression, etc.
I'm always inspired by the courage people find to feel their feelings and the decision to grow past one's present self. Holding space and allowing a person the time to live in life's questions and ask for what they need, helping someone to find the answers they are looking for is a great privilege and one I deeply enjoy. I work with adults, ranging from late teens to whenever you're ready. I practice a trauma-informed approach to therapy, which opens space for life and all that we go through.

My passion is working with youth and families impacted by complex, generational, and acute trauma. I believe that trauma can present itself in myriad of distressing symptoms including but not limited to outbursts, isolation, dissociation, difficulty in relationships, anxiety and fear, and loss of self.
I believe it is important to be aware of the varying identities that make up an individual and how it shapes their experiences. I welcome and celebrate my clients of all identities. I enjoy working with people who want to work on anxiety, depression, chronic illnesses, caregivers of aging adults, and people grieving losses.
