Helping you find your genuine voice and self in every small step forward, Empowered Minds specializes in providing adults with therapy focused on strength based goal setting and mindful self-empowerment. Coping with life changes, day to day stress, relationship struggles, or a loss of motivation can lead to hopelessness, anxiety, and depression. If you are experiencing these or other symptoms there are ways I can support you on your journey of rediscovering your inner joy and contentment.
My Approach to Helping
Empowered Minds aims to support the discovery of your fullest you by identifying and building on what empowers you as an individual, recognizing how living a life according to your values and strengths can promote growth, and how compassionate awareness of your thoughts and feelings can guide you towards acceptance of your most authentic self. During our sessions we will work together to better understand the values that you hold close and how they can guide you in realistic, small steps forward towards fulfilling your goals. I will always keep in mind that your experiences and needs are priority, are important, and can help facilitate vulnerability, inspiration, and meaningful long term change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I personally try to bring a strength based, goal oriented approach to each and every session, but I also strive to work with each person as they feel best suits them. I am a member of the LGBTQ community and pride myself on respect of all people and embrace understanding, compassion, and the ability to grow and change no matter where we are in life.
