About My Clients
I enjoy working with individuals who desire a more fun, functional, and peaceful life. My practice is limited to work with folx whose lived experiences include trauma and dissociation. I have special interest in providing therapy to fellow therapist/survivors, and I am happy to provide supervision and consultation to therapists who wish to deepen their work with clients who dissociate. At this time I only provide in person therapy, Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy, and supervision
My Background and Approach
I believe that we all have the strength and wisdom necessary to heal, and I believe that entering into a supportive and respectful therapeutic relationship can help these strengths and awarenesses emerge, develop, and grow. Therapy is collaborative and creative work that holds potential for growth and healing. Although the work of therapy can be challenging and messy, I also believe joy and humor can be healing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I work from an anti ‘ism’ perspective, and understand the role various forms of oppression play in the development and manifestation of mental health concerns. I do not subscribe to many mainstream beliefs regarding ‘mental illness’; in my experience, most folx with mental health concerns experience these issues as a result of adverse life experiences and circumstances. At this time I have limited availability and am accepting inquiries from prospective therapy and Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) clients for May/June.
