About My Clients

Life is full of overwhelming obstacles that can leave us feeling defeated, stuck, alone, and sometimes feeling left in the dark. Do you feel the weight of the world? Do you feel unheard? It’s important to feel like you have a safe place to feel heard, understood, and authentically cared for. I am devoted to helping my clients overcome stress, anxiety, and trauma in their lives and bringing a spark to their life. ***NOW ACCEPTING KANCARE****

My Background and Approach

The tools that I provide you are based on your needs. My goal is to meet you where they are at and walk along with you and provide you with coping skills, and tools that can help you throughout your day and in between sessions that will help you find relief. We will work together on your therapeutic goals and if certain approaches do not fit then we will evaluate what works best for you. We will also work together to address any triggers that ignite stress, pain, trauma, and anxiety. I am client-focused, I utilize the Cognitive Behavioral approach by promoting desirable behaviors and reduce unwanted behaviors, and integrating therapy using play. You'll develop more adequate coping strategies (e.g., relaxation training, stress reduction exercises, cognitive modulation of effect through self-talk) prior to walking through your experiences.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that you can manifest anything that you want and desire. But, first things first, even though manifesting is about turning your wants and dreams into reality, it does require that you to take proactive steps towards whatever it is that you desire. You shouldn't expect it to happen instantly or over two sessions. I don't believe that traumatic events were asked for and I definitely don't believe a person should feel shame or guilt for bad things happening to them. A person with anxiety, fears, depression, toxic shame should not carry the effects that trauma brings to them alone. I think distorted thinking can be turned into positive thinking and changing the distortions can bring light to the dark. Through my own therapy, I learned how to change my distorted thoughts to positive thoughts and the results continue to shine. If you want to learn more about how I can help, please call, text or email me.
