About My Clients
I specialize in working with families that are struggling connecting with their growing teenagers. My clients have described feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, and broken. When we work together we will focus on reconnecting and strengthening relationships.
My Background and Approach
As a Marriage and Family Therapist I have received extensive hands-on training with both family and couple dynamics and have experience navigating difficult conversations. During our sessions together we will work to establish a nurturing and safe space where ALL voices can be heard which is SO crucial to the healing process. I encourage all members of the family to be active participants in sessions as we take small but meaningful steps towards your family goals. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in the importance of having a clear picture of the goal ahead and will work along side you to take small but meaningful steps towards your unique goal(s). During my extensive training at Our Lady of the Lake University I not only received hands on experience working with both family and couple dynamics but also developed into a therapist that truly listens to each individual's unique experience. I believe in the importance of tailoring treatment to the client(s) in front of me. I consider my clients to be experts of their own lives, knowing themselves and their circumstances more fully than anyone else. In our sessions I will seek out your knowledge and assist you in paving your own path because therapy isn't a one size fits all!
