About My Clients
Perhaps you think you're not good enough, you can't succeed or feel you are not being heard. These thoughts may come up over and over again, impacting how you view yourself, how you function and may bring on feelings of low self-worth, sadness or anxiety. Whatever the reason, my goal is to help you embrace your authentic self, challenge your inner critic and find a place of healing.
My Background and Approach
I utilize a variety of tools and approaches to help you achieve your unique goals for therapy and my goal is for you to take the skills taught in therapy and apply to them to your life. I am a certified EMDR therapist and using EMDR we identify your present day triggers, body sensations and negative beliefs so that we can begun to deconstruct and start to heal the wounds that had led to these beliefs.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My treatment approach embraces authenticity and vulnerability. It is my belief as clinicians we model the values we embrace. I work from a lens of compassion and hope to help my clients reach a place of vulnerability so they may begin the process of risk-taking in order to reach their goals. Change is accomplished through patience and walking along side my clients in their journey.
